CPSO Arrests Moss Bluff Man for Cruelty to the Infirmed

 Lake Charles –

On May 8, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home in Moss Bluff in reference to a disturbance.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered Austin Lee Dailey, 19, Moss Bluff, had struck two elderly family members, ages 80 and 83, numerous times causing several injuries and then fled the scene.   The deputies’ investigation also revealed Dailey had previous altercations with the two family members.

On May 10, Dailey was located by detectives.  After further investigation Dailey confirmed the allegations made by the family members.  Dailey was then booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center for 2 counts of cruelty to the infirmed.

Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $250,000 and signed a stay-away order preventing Dailey from having contact with the victims.
