Lake Charles –
On April 28, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home in Lake Charles in reference to indecent behavior with a juvenile.
It was learned that the suspect, Jason Korn, 40, Lake Charles, had exposed himself to two juveniles, ages 9 and 10. After further investigation it was learned Korn engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with one of the juveniles, between January of 2011 and April of 2013.
Detectives attempted to locate Korn for questioning but were unsuccessful, so on June 5 detectives issued a warrant for his arrest.
On June 9 Korn was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with sexual battery and four (4) counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Judge Michael Canaday set Korn’s bond at $235,000.
CPSO Detective Cory Myers is the lead investigator on this case.
