On August 24, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched in reference to a report of harassment.
Deputies were advised between August 19 and 24, Noah S. Hinton, 17, 2266 W. Rapheal Square, Moss Bluff, sent numerous intimidating and profane text messages to the victim, who is an ex-acquaintance, threatening to distribute nude videos of her if she did not do what he asked.
During the investigation, CPSO detectives spoke with several witnesses who confirmed they received pornographic videos of the victim that were sent to them via text message and/or email. Detectives confirmed these videos were recorded by Hinton without the victim’s consent during a video chat from their phones.

He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 3 counts extortion; 1 count of stalking; 1 count of defamation; and 1 count of telephone harassment.
Judge David Ritchie set his bond at $325,000.
