CPSO Arrests Man for Stalking

On September 18, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a Lake Charles home after receiving a report from a woman advising she had received numerous harassing and intimidating text messages and phone calls from Logan R. Gandy, 29, 6136 W. Azalea Drive, Lake Charles, an ex-acquaintance, and he had also shown up to her home even after numerous requests not to do so.

Upon arrival, deputies arrested Gandy and released him on a misdemeanor summons and ordered to stay away from the victim.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies responded after receiving a second complaint from the victim advising Gandy was currently outside of her home and had also sent her additional harassing and intimidating text messages and phone calls.

Gandy fled the scene before deputies arrived but was quickly located and arrested without incident.  He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with stalking; cyberstalking; and telephone harassment.

Judge Robert Wyatt set his bond at $25,000.

CPSO Sr. Cpl. Nathan McKee and Deputy Bryan Alexander were the arresting deputies on this case.
