CPSO Arrests Sulphur Woman for Theft from Employer

On September 25, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local casino regarding an employee stealing from the company.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a security team member of the casino who advised employee Briana C. Biles, 20, 20 Fowler Drive, Apt. # 132, Sulphur, was captured on casino video surveillance stealing over $2,000 cash by accepting payment from customers and placing the cash into her pocket.    The investigation revealed after pocketing the cash, Biles charged other customers' cards with the amount she pocketed.

When questioned by deputies, Biles confirmed the allegations.

Biles was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged theft over $1,500. 

Judge David Ritchie set her bond at $10,000.

CPSO Deputy Elrick Jones was the arresting deputy on this case.
