CPSO Looking for Man in Connection with Armed Robbery at Lake Charles Convenience Store

On Tuesday, September 24, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the Quick Check convenience store, 3421 E. Broad Street, Lake Charles, in reference to an armed robbery.

Upon arrival deputies spoke with the store clerk who advised a man entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money.  After stealing an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the store in a silver newer model extended cab pick-up truck, heading east on E. Broad Street.

The Sheriff’s Office conducted an extensive search of the area but was unable to locate the suspect.  He is described as a black man, approximately 5’10”, wearing all black clothing and a black bandana covering his face.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in identifying this man.  If anyone knows anything about this robbery or can identify this man, please call CPSO at 491-3605 or Crimestoppers at 439-2222.
